7 Tips for Mystery Shoppers
Want to earn more as a mystery shopper? Here are some tips to help you increase your income and have more money in your pocket:

1. Double check the time, date and specific store location to avoid a mistake.

3. Always be sure to read your instructions before you conduct the shop and look out for explicit instructions like requesting a particular product.

4. Invest in yourself. Upgrade your skills with classes on business writing, or by getting certified.

5. Create good relationships with schedulers by completing your assignments as expected. When they know they can count on you, they will help you get more and better assignments.

6. Use technology to make your job easier. A digital voice recorder, digital camera, or software program can save you time in doing shops and completing reports.

7. Keep good records of all the assignments you have completed for at least 6 months. Start a filing system for receipts and the reports submitted for each assignment.

8. Use a reward credit card when allowed and paying cash is not required. Using a reward card for purchases on mystery shops will get you airline miles, gift certificates, cash or other rewards.

Oh, and don't forget to choose assignments you enjoy. Mystery shopping is hard work, but it can be fun, too.
