What
is a Blog?
A
Blog is free web space giving you the opportunity to write about anything
you choose. You can use it as a daily diary to express your views, write
about your favourite subject, pastime or passion such as Golf, Football,
Fashion, or Writing. Or if you have a website you can use a Blog to
support that site by making regular posts about updates on your services
or products with back-links to your main site. Basically, a Blog is
a free website enabling you to write on any subject you want. As well
as sharing your views it also lets you add links, upload files, photos,
videos and music. It allows you to create your own profile and communicate
with others on a day-to-day basis. What it basically involves is a regular
input from you. This can be as short as a few sentences or as long as
an article. The most recent input appears at the top of your page and
is open to responses from your visitors. Visitors can leave comments
directly on your site or contact you by e-mail. You can filter the responses
you receive so if you don't like a post you can delete it.
Blogging
is a great podium allowing you to express yourself or write articles
on absolutely anything and best of all you can make money from it too.
Making
money with Affiliate Marketing
Once
you've created your Blog and are comfortable with its content and appearance
you can start pitching for some more revenue.
Another
way to generate income from your Blog is by placing advertising banners
on your site by well-known merchants. This is called affiliate marketing.
The structure is basically the same as using Adsense only with affiliate
marketing you choose what type of banners or text links you use. Once
these ads are placed on your site you will earn commission when one
of your viewers clicks on that link or banner and makes a purchase,
sign-up, or subscription to their offer. Signing up with affiliate networks
is free and you don't have to pay a penny to use the service either.
We recommend the following affiliate network companies for use on your
Blog:

Other
ways of making money from my Blog
Review Websites and services for cash. This really
is a great opportunity to earn some cash from your Blog. The system
works like this; you sign up, for free, and submit your Blog for inclusion
in their network. Once your Blog is accepted it's placed on what they
call the 'MarketPlace' and is up for grabs at a price you set by clients
who are looking to make a review purchase. When a client asks for a
review, you do have the option to accept or refuse the offer if you
find it unsuitable, disinteresting or feel that it won't interest your
visitors. The site shows you samples of what reviews look like and what
is expected from you as a Blog Reviewer so you can be up and running
in no time. With each review priced between £10.00 and £100.00
there really is scope to make a good income. The better the reviews
you write and the higher your Blog ranking, the more offers you will
get. For more information and to register try Review
Me.
How
much money can I make?
How
much money you make from your Blog is subject to how your site is marketed.
Basically it just depends on how much traffic you generate, the more
visitors you have, the more money you will make, it's as simple as that.
So you should make sure that you promote your site to the best of your
ability. In general terms you probably won't get rich from using your
Blog as an advertising medium but you will definitely make some extra
cash, and perhaps even a little bit more.
